It's 01/01/08, and time to get this fucking show on the road. I have some lofty goals and some banal goals, but I intend to complete them all.

I've decided to join in the fun of Day Zero. For a long time I've felt like a piece of driftwood, afloat on an ocean; I've gone wherever the caprice of the tides has taken me. I know that I have an enormous reservoir of physical, emotional, and mental energy, I've just never been able to harness it into concrete goals and aspirations. This is my attempt.
